Foran's 11,126 hectare Bigstone Lake Joint Venture is located in northeastern Saskatchewan, approximately 80 kilometres west of Flin Flon and 25 kilometres west of Foran's McIlvenna Bay deposit. There is a 6% NPI and a 2% NSR on Foran's production at Bigstone Lake, and Teck Resources Ltd. holds a back-in right.

Past exploration by previous operators at Bigstone Lake has outlined zones of both copper- and zinc-rich VMS mineralization. In 2002, Aur Resources outlined an historic mineral resource of 1.45 Mt grading 2.80% copper in a copper-rich zone and 308,000 t grading 11.20% zinc in a separate zinc-rich zone.

As follow-up to drilling and geophysical surveys by previous operators, Foran commissioned a high-resolution, deep-penetrating VTEM Time Domain Electromagnetic ("EM") survey over portions of the property in 2007. Foran has recently commissioned a reinterpretation of the results of this survey; results of this reinterpretation are pending. The Company anticipates that this work will generate drill targets at Bigstone Lake.

In 2010-2011, Foran engaged Equity Exploration Consultants for the review and compilation of historic data on Bigstone Lake and several other Foran properties, and will provide the Company with recommendation for further exploration.
